Music by James Butt, f.i.a.l., I created this site to continue the work of publishing my late father's music. While he relied on sales of sacred solos to Christian Science churches, he also wrote music for brass band, flute and guitar duo, and an opera, "The Laughter of the Gods".
He was a composition pupil of both Benjamin Britten and Matyas Seiber, something very evident in the quality of his craftsmanship.
